Winemaking
The Eden Riesling is produced from a single vineyard planted by in 1972. Using only free run juice The Eden displays the purity of the Riesling variety and a true expression of site and region. While the 2019 volume is down there is no loss of flavour – it is a powerhouse of fresh citrus, with a lemon-lime bouquet and hints of apple blossom and sage. The vibrant palette is awash with citrus- lime and Meyer lemon, granny smith apple with the slatey acidity driving a long finish.

"What is essentially a vineyard selection of the best bunches of a Flaxman Valley riesling patch, established in 1972. Expansive notes of fresh lime, yellow plum and Granny Smith apples along with hints of soft spice, stone, cut fennel and nectarine. Quite textural in the mouth, some dried herbs swooping in to join the crisp lime and citrus notes, a quartz-like acid cadence driving proceedings along nicely." 92 points - Dave Brookes, Halliday Wine Companion
