Red velvet with purple hue. Dark cherry and raspberry nose with subtle hints of sweet spice and tobacco. Red cherry and sweet, dry wood palate with savoury
Winemaking
Kept on a mix of French and American oak for 11 months before bottling.
Review
A fine nose of varietal fidelity with camphor, iodine, blueberry and white pepper. Clove and smoked meat, too. Long and plush, if not a bit hot. The tannins corral, refine and pummel the palate with an impression of savouriness. Good gear. A winner.
